Oscar’s Investing Radar is an idea-generation publication that focuses on finding great opportunities in the market that mostly fall in these three categories:
Quality Compounders at a fair to low price, that can grow earnings at a fast pace for a long period of time.
Event Driven Investments (with a catalyst) that should see explosive earnings growth in the sort-term due to an external event
High Yield Investments that are returning a lot of capital to shareholders through buybacks, debt repayment and dividends (hopefully in that order).
Really good opportunities in the markets are rare. There’s not a ton of stocks out there with huge upside and low downside and most stocks are fairly priced, that’s why I practice a concentrated approach. I do not reveal my portfolio allocation because I want to have the mental flexibility to make quick changes at any time.
